With Web Clipper for NotebookLM installed, you can add YouTube Shorts directly to your notebooks.

## How it works

On any YouTube Shorts page, you'll find the **Web Clipper for NotebookLM** icon in the vertical button stack, above the Like button.

## Add a Short

1. Navigate to any YouTube Short
2. Find the **Web Clipper for NotebookLM** icon above the Like button
3. Click the icon to open the modal
4. Select an existing notebook from the modal, or create a new one
5. The modal closes and a confirmation notification appears

Your Short is now a source in NotebookLM, ready for AI-powered analysis.

## What you can do with Short sources

Once added, NotebookLM can:

* Summarize the Short's content
* Answer questions about what was discussed
