Web Clipper for NotebookLM integrates seamlessly with Naver News, Korea’s leading news platform. You can save articles to your notebooks without leaving the page.

How it works

Every news article on Naver News displays a Web Clipper for NotebookLM button at the top of the page, positioned alongside the text-to-speech and share options.

Save an article using the button

  1. Open any news article on Naver News
  2. Locate the Web Clipper for NotebookLM button at the top of the article
  3. Click the button to open the notebook selection dialog
  4. Choose an existing notebook or create a new one
  5. The dialog closes and you’ll see a confirmation notification
The article is now saved as a source in your notebook.

Save an article using the side panel

You can also clip articles through the extension’s side panel:
  1. Open any news article on Naver News
  2. Click the Web Clipper extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the side panel
  3. Navigate to the Clip tab
  4. Select your target notebook from the dropdown
  5. Click to add the current article to your notebook
This method works on any webpage, not just Naver News.

What you can do with news sources

Once your article is in NotebookLM, you can:
  • Get concise summaries of lengthy news reports
  • Ask specific questions about the article’s content
  • Cross-reference information with other sources in your notebook
  • Track coverage of topics across multiple articles
